About Sara
I am a former PhD student in Chemistry. I have always gravitated towards teaching, whether it was helping my peers learn in school, tutoring, or teaching swimming lessons. I love watching a student's thought process, seeing them work hard, and having that moment when things click. When I'm not tutoring I can be found running my dog walking business.

I have eight years of tutoring experience in math and science at elementary school, middle school, high school, adult high school, and post secondary levels. I also have additional experience teaching tutorials in chemistry at the 3rd year university level. I have a 'let's figure it out together' approach. I listen carefully to what you already know so that I can pinpoint what information you're missing. I use analogies to make new concepts seem familiar.
