About Henri

I am a certified French teacher, EAO in Canada. I have a Master's degree in the Teaching of French as a Foreign/Second Language from the University of Ottawa, Canada. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor's degree in English and French (combined). I have taught in many schools and institutions. I have been teaching in Canada both on-site and online since 2020. But from 2013-2020 in Cameroon, I have taught as a French language instructor at the University of Buea, Cameroon, to students from the first cycle, even at the primary and high school levels.
Besides, l have taught French at the Alliance Française du Cameroun-Douala for 3 good years to all the levels (A-C). I did not work there only as a French teacher, but also as a French examiner and scorer of French international exams such as TCF Québec, TCF Canada, TCF tout public, TEF Canada, DELF and DALF.

I also prepare candidates for the government French oral test.

I teach online using Zoom, Teams, etc. or l can teach face-to-face or in group depending on the learner(s).

About the lesson

Generally, my learners tell me that I'm dynamic, calm and patient as a French teacher. Yes, I am young, social, punctual and diligent with strong French and English-level abilities. I have over 5 years of progressive experience in the Anglo-Saxon educational system. My responsibilities include the charge with the responsibility of maintaining a detailed record of each learner’s progress and I am to incorporate a variety of teaching, evaluation and learning strategies. Besides, I have a good knowledge of world cultures. I believe I possess the necessary skills and experience you are seeking which will permit you to learn French as fast as possible.
I do intend to sharpen my learner's skills and to make to have a better understanding of the people of France, Québec, their culture and their educational system and the people of other countries.

Fred is a cultured student, he loves to discuss in the target language, no matter what the topic, and he is open-minded. It is not difficult to help such a student develop his French communication skills. He has the vocabulary, we mostly have to work on French syntax and pronunciation.
