About Sam
Hey I'm Sam, I'm studying Biomedical Science at Uni and particularly love studying gene editing and gene therapy. At the moment I have a particular interest in CRISPR-Cas9, a revolutionary new technology which acts like 'molecular scissors' to cut DNA at specific points anywhere we like. This means we will have the capability soon of curing diseases such as Sickle Cell Disease.
I have a huge interest in research and this is what I want to pursue after I graduate. I know that the process of learning new things can be challenging however I’d love to help you learn science and share my love of new science and technology.

I have recently have gone through the whole school schenangon- so absolutely know how difficult it can be to grasp new concepts and how irratitating those mark schemes can be, but that is where I come in!
