About Mehyar

Hi, I'm Mehyar, a Chemical Engineering student at Newcastle University. I got A grades in A-level Maths and Chemistry, so I know exactly what the exams ask for and where students usually get stuck.

I've always loved how maths and chemistry explain the world, and that's why I chose Chemical Engineering. I've helped my brother with his studies, so I'm used to explaining things patiently and in a way that clicks.

About the lesson

I tutor A-level and GCSE Maths and Chemistry, online over webcam (and in person around Newcastle if that suits you better). I break hard topics into simple steps, use lots of worked examples and exam-style questions, and go at your pace. Lessons are usually an hour, and we can start with a free first lesson to see how we get on.

Whether you need help with one tricky topic or a full revision plan before the exam, I'll help you feel confident going into it. I also speak Arabic, which some families find helpful.
