About Julia
I'm a Level 1 certified Korean language instructor with over 12 years of experience teaching students from more than 20 countries, both online and in person. My lessons cover everything from TOPIK exam preparation to business Korean, tailored to each student's level and goals. Since I communicate in English and some Chinese as well as Korean, I can clearly explain difficult concepts and make sure nothing gets lost along the way. I'm patient, organized, and genuinely invested in your progress — my goal is for every student to feel supported, understood, and excited to keep learning Korean.

My lessons are built around your goals, whether you're a complete beginner, preparing for the TOPIK exam, learning Korean for business, or getting ready for a trip to Korea. As a Level 1 certified instructor with over 12 years of experience, I've taught students from more than 20 countries, so I know how to explain Korean grammar and culture in a way that truly makes sense. A typical class starts with a short conversation warm-up, moves into clear grammar and vocabulary explanations, then practical speaking, writing, or listening practice, and ends with personalized feedback. My teaching style is structured but relaxed and encouraging — I want every student to leave each lesson feeling more confident and motivated to keep learning.
