About Jane
Hi, I’m Jane, a dental student who’s overcome a variety of struggles with getting into dental school. I really struggled with school throughout sixth form, only getting consistent C’s and D’s through school. It wasn’t till I changed my mindset and approach to Chemistry and Maths till I observed a change in my grades. I truly believe I can help other students achieve their full potential like I found in myself especially students who struggle in these subjects like I did. I’m committed to helping you find love and passion in A levels like I did!

During my time in sixth form I really struggled with understanding the complexity of A level chemistry and maths, even the fundamentals. I ended up achieving As in both subjects and gained an amazing understanding and passion for both. For this reason I’m committed to helping other students who are struggling to gain confidence. To do this, structured lessons will be created by me to suit each individual student's needs. Whether this be basic content and recovering gaps in knowledge to exam technique and answering questions. I’m determined in fostering a comfortable space to ask questions and deepening your knowledge and understanding. I will be available throughout the week to answer questions and provide worked solutions to questions you’re unsure about. As well as this, I have a wide array of experience with the dental and medical school application and am happy to support students through their application from UCAT preparation to interviews and personal statement advice. I received a top 10 percentile UCAT score and received offers from Sheffield, Plymouth, Newcastle and Bristol where I achieved a 290/300 interview score leading to an early acceptance. I hope I can be a part of your academic journey and aid in any way I can!
