About Aisling
I am an 18 year old currently on a gap year before going to the University of Bristol to study medicine. I just finished my A levels in which I achieved 3 A*, I studied maths, chemistry and biology, all of which I really enjoyed. Having finished my A levels so recently I have a good idea of the challenges of A levels and how to really improve your grades and maximise what you can get out of your knowledge and classes.

In a subject like A level chemistry I think there are a few key steps to improving someones grade. Firstly ensuring a student understands the content of the course as once a student understands the concepts being used memorising these concepts will become much easier, next a student needs to know how to memorise the content I like to recommend using flash cards and going over these often concentrating on what the student does not know. However knowing the course is often not enough for A level Chemistry so practicing exam technique allows students to get the most out of their knowledge and maximise their marks.
