About Jasper
Hi, my name is Jasper (20), and I am a 1st year Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at the University of Exeter after having been an A Level Maths, Further Maths and Physics student at grammar school Devonport High School for Boys in Plymouth. I completed my A Levels just last year, and I am very empathetic with how difficult that period can be. I find it quite sad that so many students do not get the support they really need at their own school, so I am here to help fill that gap and help you reach your full potential!

Lesson Approach: I like to approach learning systematically, first by learning a student's capabilities, and then working off of that by securing a good understanding of a topic, through questioning, discussing and interacting, to make sure the student is on board, every step of the way. I cannot emphasise enough how important practice of real-world exam questions is, so once basic understanding is met, I like to work through examples of past paper exam questions with the student. We pick apart the mark scheme, so the student can develop the knowledge of what exactly the questions are looking for, in the real exam situation! My Qualifications: - A in A Level Mathematics - B in A Level Further Mathematics - B In A Level Physics - A* in AQA GCSE Mathematics - A* in AQA GCSE Physics - Additional Astronomy GCSE - Grade average of 7.2 (A) in my GCSEs - Studied at Devonport High School for Boys Grammar School - Confirmed place in Mechanical Engineering MEng at University of Exeter (Russell Group uni) for 2025 Who I teach: - GCSE/A-Level Maths and Further Maths Students - Other students around similar level or below Lesson Information: - Free first Lesson - Online Lessons: I have access to a digital pen for workings and high-speed wifi - 1hr (can be negotiated) - £12 an hour online

Perfect! Jasper has been helping my son with his GCSE maths and his understanding of the subject has greatly improved since he started.
Highly recommended.Perfect! Jasper has been a great help with my daughters GCSE maths. He has made her more confident which is the thing she has lacked the most. He has picked up on what she is the least confident in and has gone through past papers and explained calmly with her. Been a great help.
