About Emran
Hi there! I'm Emran, a recent graduate from the University of Surrey. I studied Economics & Mathematics and during my time at university, I tutored every single year where I worked with GCSE & A-level students.
Throughout the years, I have found myself being able to adapt to different type of students and adapt my teaching style depending on the way they learn. I have also worked closely with Maths teachers during my internship at Teach First.
I have a proven record to improve students grade by at least at least 2 grades as long as they are consistent and motivated, I believe that I can make a difference to the students education.
The way I work is very simple, I first try to understand what motivates the student, why they require tutoring in maths and identify their weaknesses within the subject. I always make an effort to build a healthy professional relationship with the student to ensure they feel comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes and learn from them. I have the ability to take complex topics and explain them in a very simple and concise manner for the student to fully understand the topics.
I constantly give homework without adding extra pressure from their every day lives and encourage them to contact me at any time if any help is required.
