About M Amen

Hi there

I am a student awaiting results on my A Levels in Further Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, having achieved (concealed information) (11x A**) in my GCSEs, and an A* in A Level Mathematics during Year 12. I am predicted A*A*A* in my remaining three A Levels this year.

I hold a Microsoft Certified Technology Associate Certification in Python and have worked on a variety of projects for both myself and clients. I also teach Python and have taught it to students and professionals across the globe.

‍ I teach A Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics (Core Pure, FM1 and FP1), A Level/GCSE Computer Science, or just general Python, and am happy to tailor lessons to your exact needs/requirements.

About the lesson

Mathematics/Further Mathematics:
My teaching will be past-paper lead, where I hope to work through questions on the day's topic with you giving examples of the different types that can come up, and working to develop your mind such that you can tackle any question the exam board can throw.

Prior to the lesson, I'll share the questions we will work through as well as a brief introduction sheet to make the topic clearer. If you struggle with any question/topic, we will work to tackle that area, by trying questions of similar nature, until you feel confident.

Overall, I will teach in a unique style for each student based on their needs, while not straying from the end-goal by making use of past paper questions, and high-quality resources.

Computer Science:

For this my teaching will follow the specification in the same adaptable manner as Mathematics. While I specialise in AQA A-Level and OCR GCSE specifications, I am able to tutor any mainstream specification.

Here we will work to first understand the concept before trying question packs and working on common methods to tackle questions. For coding, I will work to give you real world examples of concepts so you can understand and will consistently give you small challenges to try yourself. This way, I can gauge where you are and what areas you need more practice in, for us to keep moving forward.

I have taught coding to many people including senior engineers at leading multinational conglomerates, and know how to create understanding behind the fundamentals of coding.
