About Daanish
I was fortunate enough to attend a great college where I had a fantastic, passionate teacher who stoked my love for the sciences, and had a much bigger impact on my time at school than I initially thought. However, I also had family members who weren't as lucky as I was who, due to a poor quality of education, missed out on this type of positive experience I had in my life. I achieved an A grade in A-Level Physics and I'm currently studying undergraduate Pharmacy. As a result, I think a high quality education is vital to preparing a student for their later life, and offer top quality lessons in physics.

Previous experience tutoring A-Level physics has proven that when it comes to improving your range of knowledge in physics, mastering the key concepts allows you to avoid making silly mistakes in conclusions and calculations, while guiding your thinking when you face questions you may be ignorant of.
I believe past papers are perfect for identify your weak points, whether that be exam technique or physics knowledge. I then make notes of these weak topics, and plan lessons based on historical experiments that led to the discovery of certain ideas related to the topic, such as the photoelectric effect or electron diffraction. I then encourage the student to perform independent learning on the subject, as sometimes the exam boards range of topics can leave you ill prepared for higher education, however this is optional as not all students may be interested. Another exam paper is given on the same topic until the student is satisfied with their progress, with average lessons taking between 1 hour and 1 hour 30 min.
I have taken this approach with A-Level physics students, as although it takes multiple lessons to cover one topic, lessons stick with them for longer, and the increased familiarity built with the subject proves beneficial in their overall progress. I achieved an A grade in A-Level physics, and I am currently an undergraduate in Birmingham, though I offer tutoring online.
