About Paul

I have had a passion for Mathematics teaching for more than a quarter of a century. Throughout that time I have mostly taught 16-18 year old students in preparation for the world's best universities. For 10 years I was Head of Maths at two of the most successful Sixth Form Colleges in the UK. I have since become a Head of Sixth Form in two different schools. My focus is always on the students and on the subject I love. I can teach all areas of A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics (Pure Maths, Statistics, Mechanics, Decision Maths etc.). I also have experience in teaching IBDP Maths at Standard Level and Higher Level. I have also taught students how to prepare for the MAT entrance Oxford Maths entrance exam. I could also teach IGCSE or GCSE.

- University of Southampton - PGCE [Pass]
- University of Bath - Masters Degree in International Education [Merit]
- University of Sheffield - Bachelors Degree in Probability and Statistics (with honours) [2ii]

Prizes and Scholarships :
I have mentored literally hundreds of successful Oxbridge and Ivy League students.
I give practice interviews to many students applying for Mathematics and Engineering at Oxbridge.

Other Qualifications :
I have 9 O Levels taken in 1986. (including grade A in Mathematics taken a year early)

I have 4 A Levels taken in 1988 (including Mathematics and Statistics)

Paul is patient, which has been really beneficial as my niece lacks confidence.

Paul communicates problems with ease. He’s been punctual and lessons are well planned. He has extensive resources to share, aiding lessons, and this has really helped with retaining the topics covered. With the experience Paul has, he knows the exam board specifications inside out.

I’ve already recommended Paul to a friend (whom has subsequently booked lessons), and will continue to do so!
