About Lukshmishcoomar

I am currently (in my last months as) an A-Level student specializing in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics, with a strong interest in analytical thinking and scientific problem-solving. Having completed O-Levels and progressed to advanced-level studies, I am familiar with the structure, expectations and challenges of both syllabuses.

Beyond academics, I am highly active in extracurricular activities. I have participated in Model United Nations (MUN), science competitions, academic projects and other related initiatives. These experiences have strengthened my critical thinking, communication skills and ability to explain complex ideas clearly and confidently.

Through my academic journey, I have developed a disciplined and structured approach to studying, focusing not only on mastering content but also on understanding exam strategies, time management and logical reasoning.

As a student myself, I understand the difficulties learners often face, and I aim to make lessons clear, engaging and approachable. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence and independent thinking skills.

I am patient, organized and committed to helping each student reach their full academic potential.

About the lesson

I offer structured and exam-focused lessons for O-Level and A-Level students in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.

My teaching approach focuses on building strong conceptual understanding before moving to intensive exam practice. I believe students perform best not by memorizing formulas, but by understanding why concepts work and how to apply them confidently in different question types.

In my lessons, I:

Break down complex topics into simple, logical steps

Use clear explanations with worked examples

Focus on past paper questions and exam techniques

Identify weak areas and target them effectively

Encourage active problem-solving during sessions

I can cover the full syllabus step-by-step, or focus on specific topics if a student only needs help in certain areas. Lessons are tailored to the student’s level, pace and academic goals.

I also provide preparation for related examinations, including school assessments, mock exams and final board examinations. My aim is to help students improve not only their understanding, but also their confidence and exam performance.
