About Yusuf
I am an A-level Math student with a strong academic background, having achieved 9 GCSEs with grades ranging from 7–9. I am currently studying A-level Math alongside Chemistry and Biology, and I have a strong understanding of the GCSE Math curriculum and exam requirements.
Having recently completed my own GCSEs, I understand the challenges students face and know how important it is to have explanations that are clear, patient, and easy to follow.
My aim is to help students build confidence in Math, strengthen their understanding of key topics, and improve their exam performance through structured lessons and targeted practice.

My GCSE Maths lessons are focused on helping students understand the basic concepts clearly so that they can then go on to understand the more difficult problems with more ease.
As an A-level Maths student who recently completed GCSEs, I understand the areas students often find challenging and can explain topics in a simple and relatable way.
Lessons will be personalised around each student's needs. We will focus on:
- Identifying the weaker topics and improving understanding
- Working through examples step-by-step
- Practising GCSE exam-style questions
- Developing exam technique and learning the mark schemes
- Building confidence ahead of exams
Whether a student is aiming to improve their grade, catch up on difficult topics, or prepare for upcoming exams, lessons will be adapted to suit their goals and learning style.
