I’m an a-level maths student, currently studying it alongside chemistry and biology. I did my maths gcse a year early due to me being in an express set and got a grade 9. I would teach you based on how confident you are with the chosen topic. Let’s say you’re not confident at all, you have no clue what you’re doing. I’d show you examples step by step, showing you exactly what I’m doing and explaining it along the way, I’d take you through varying difficulties until you think you’ve taken it in enough to have a go, then I’d give you some simple ones to try and work with you through it, as you become more confident I’d help you less and less until you know exactly how to approach every question, then I’d set you real exam questions to work through and set you exam papers to try so you can identify your strengths and weaknesses that we can work on.
