About Elena
I am interested in teaching primary and secondary school children with their maths work. I would begin with the basics in maths, and then apply these skills to problem solving questions. I achieved an A* in my maths GCSE and I’m predicted a further A* in A level, along with an A* in Psychology and an A in Economics. I have experience in babysitting in which I often help young children with their homework, thus demonstrating that I work well with children. Truthfully, Maths never used to be a strong point of mine until I hit secondary school, therefore I would like to be the role model that made me passionate about maths, to your child.

I am a student in my first year of sixth form. I really enjoy helping others and sharing my knowledge so that they, too, can receive results that are of high standards. I am really interested in helping children to achieve their maths goals and for them to feel satisfied with their knowledge. Throughout my tutoring sessions, I will ensure that they are engaging for students and I will adapt each session for your child’s abilities to make sure they are comprehensible and clear for them.
As an individual who loves to problem solve, and does this by breaking down complex problems into smaller, more manageable ones, I believe that I would be an appropriate maths tutor for your child.

Elena is extremely mature and is always looking to do and learn more. She has helped me multiple times while doing A level maths when i have struggled. She is able to explain things simply and make it easy to get my head around things. She is very knowledgeable and this has made me and others understand hard part of maths that we didn’t beforehand
