About Ruby
Hi, I’m Ruby, a dedicated piano student and tutor with a strong foundation in classical training, I am currently working on finishing my level 10 RCM, and competitions
My teaching approach combines structure and creativity. I focus on essential fundamentals like note reading, rhythm, and technique, while also keeping lessons engaging and enjoyable with a mix of classical and modern pieces. I adapt each lesson to the student’s pace and learning style, creating a supportive and encouraging environment.
I am familiar with the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum and can help students prepare for exams if they choose to pursue them.
My goal is not just to teach students how to play piano, but to help them enjoy music, stay motivated, and grow in confidence!

Teaching style is based off RCM curriculum, whether you are looking to compete for competitions, or structured books for taking RCM level exams, I also teach fun focused - (games, creativity, enjoyment—> recommended for people doing piano as a hobby or wanting to step into potentially doing RCM exams)
