About Michael
I enjoy playing football and recently volunteered at a kid's football camp over the summer. I also currently work as a lifeguard. In general, I enjoy helping others and at the moment I am trying to go above and beyond to do as much as I can by branching out and broadening my horizon.
I understand from first-hand experience that in some cases teachers do not do enough, and fail to provide a proper learning experience for all students: I believe a good tutor can be a much better alternative to students wasting hours and hours trying to wrap their head around a particular subject by themselves.

As a tutor, my teaching methods will vary widely depending on the tutee; as different people learn in different ways. However I like to focus on weak areas and concentrate on understanding the topic rather than simply knowing how to answer certain questions. I would generally arrange zoom calls with the students where I can explain anything they are confused by, and then give them some questions to try themselves so they can gain a more practical learning experience.
Lessons would generally last 20 - 30 minutes, but I am happy enough to stay longer if the tutee would prefer that.
I have brief experience tutoring primary school children although no official qualifications.
Lessons are directed at students from first to fifth year.
