About Caitlin
I’m on my gap year before university. I’m spending it completing an additional A-level - Further Maths. I’m starting at the university of York in September to do a dual honours degree in Mathematics and Philosophy. I love working with children in general but especially when tutoring because I can pass on my knowledge and help them achieve their goal.

I always begin by finding out which areas are the weakest for the student(s) and targeting them to make sure the foundations are solid before focusing on exam technique and how to approach questions to get the most marks out of each one. I believe practice questions are a very useful way to revise as well as short quizzes at the end of a lesson to ensure what I’ve gone over is committed to memory. I would also encourage the student to make links between different topics in a subject through the use of mind maps to help them answer high level questions. However, I understand that what works for one student might not work for another so I would help the student(s) refine their revision methods to best suit them so that they can revise with maximum efficiency.

Perfect! Caitlin is very patient and very organised. My son(12) is very happy with her method.
I will definitely continue using her services for science, Spanish and maths.- Jeremi seemed to pick things up quickly and understand each concept but struggles a little when explaining them to me so I’ll prepare some questions for him to do next lesson that should help him order his thoughts a little.Caitlin's response :

Caitlin comes top of her class most of the time and is one of the three Head Girls in her school. She is very good helping others, having progressed far in the Sport Leadership program as well as her academic achievements
Caitlin achieved 8s and 9s in her GCSEs. Whilst studying for her GCSEs, she was commended by her Teachers for helping her fellow students with their studies. Caitlin is currently studying for A Levels in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Spanish. She is highly motivated, patient and dedicated to doing a good job.
