About William
I am currently in my second year of A Levels studying Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, having studied Further Maths in the past. These subjects have given me strong foundations in which to teach from, both having knowledge of application as well as further knowledge.
Having recently completed GCSEs, I have knowledge of the most up to date specification and achieved the maximum attainable grade, so you will be in good hands.
Now in my second year of A Levels I have a good knowledge of the first year of the Mathematics A Level (AS), so would be happy to support those who are in Year 12, or those thinking of studying Mathematics at A Levels.
I have also successfully taken part in the Senior Maths challenge.

Hi,
It's nice to meet you. I am William a current year 13 student, looking to help with maths.
Below I shall describe my teaching style, although I would be happy to adapt it to suit you, if you have a specific teaching method you would like, I would be happy to add that into the lessons!
I want to give an environment where you can go at your own pace and ask any question that you would like, without feeling any pressure.
Focusing on specific areas I feel is a good way to build up knowledge in segments, but recap is very important to solidify those concepts. Therefore each session will focus on a specific subject, but also involving questions from previously learnt subjects, which allows mathematical concepts to keep fresh in your mind.
Speaking through a subject with a student allows understanding on their terms, and once key ideas have been put in place, having questions to work through can identify what needs to be worked upon. Then the student can be given questions to work upon, where I would be happy to provide help as well as a worked solution for them.
If you have any questions, I would be more than happy to hear them.
Thank you for taking your time to read my profile, I look forward in teaching you! I offer a free first session which can be on an area of your choice, so you can find out if my teaching style suits you.
Have a nice day!
