About Aasiyah
I have been a tutor for around 3 years now, teaching 5 lessons a week to a range of children, including GCSE students, dyslexic and autistic students. 9 GCSEs grades 6-8, currently studying Media, French and Biology A-Level. Excited to be given the opportunity to teach new students!

I believe that the key to tutoring is understanding the student and basing classes on their needs. My lessons are broken down in to 4 parts:
a) 10-minute starter activity to get the student engaged and in the mood for the subject
b) 20-minute teaching time, explaining content, going through example questions together
c) 20-minute independent work time - it is crucial for students to practice working on their own as this resembles an exam where your tutor won't be around to help you
d) 5-minute discussion of how the lesson was, improvements, decide what we will cover next lesson
