About Ruby

Hi there, my name is Ruby and I am currently studying my A-levels at Sixth Form (History, Politics and Psychology) with the eventual goal of entering the legal field, and I am passionate about helping others to learn and succeed. I find it incredibly rewarding to see students grasp difficult concepts and progress in their abilities and their confidence. Tutoring offers me the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing personalised support and creating a positive learning environment. I enjoy breaking down complex topics in ways that make them more accessible and engaging, and I believe that every student has the potential to thrive with the right guidance and encouragement. In my GCSEs, I achieved a grade 9 in History, English Language, Sociology and a grade 8 in Maths. Having completed GCSEs not so long ago myself, I find this benefits my tuition levels, as I feel more connected and up to date with current exam specifications.

About the lesson

Offering lesson lengths from 1 hour with a flexible schedule, with a student-based focus looking at building on weaknesses in different areas of the curriculum. Ideal for students from years 10 and 11 for English Language and Sociology, and students from year 9 onwards for Maths and History.
