About Tvisha

Hi, I’m Tvisha and I am thrilled to potentially be your tutor.

I’m in Year 13 and have completed A Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and German with a prediction of A*A*A*A. I’m planning to study Economics, Finance and Data Science at Imperial College London.

I want to tutor because I’ve been exactly where you are. I know what it feels like when something just does not click no matter how many times you look at it. What I have found is that most of the time the issue is not ability it is just the way something has been explained. Once you see it in a clearer way it suddenly becomes much more manageable. That is what I try to do when I help people.

No question is ever silly and no academic hurdle is too high for us to clear together. I am fully committed to helping you unlock your absolute potential and smash your goals this year. Let’s make this happen.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is focused on building both understanding and confidence rather than just helping students memorise methods. I focus on making concepts feel logical and approachable, so students can actually see why something works and not just how to do it.
If a student makes a mistake, I see that as an important part of the learning process. I guide them through why something went wrong and how to correct it, rather than simply giving the answer.
My goal is always to help them develop independence so they can approach similar problems on their own in exams.

I would mainly be teaching GCSE students but I’m also comfortable supporting younger students.

A typical lesson would usually be around 60 minutes, as I find this is long enough to cover a concept properly while still maintaining concentration and engagement. However, I’m flexible depending on the student’s needs and the complexity of the topic.
