About Mahika
As a student who completed her GCSEs not very long ago, I have a firm idea on how to make good use of my time and make the most out of my revision. Having a good support system around me was vital to my revision as my own teachers helped me with different revision methods and time management skills.
I hope to provide the same support to you by being patient, understanding and helpful as I know how stressful exam periods can be whether it be an end-of-unit test or your very final exam.

I start with the content the student is most familiar with and slowly go to more difficult aspects as their confidence grows. I will keep asking them questions as we go along to make sure they are following and that there aren't any gaps in their knowledge.
I focus mostly on exam-style or past paper questions to check their application skills with the knowledge they have gained - I will also go through each exam question step-by-step to make sure they understand and correct any mistakes.
For students in KS4, I will teach them the exam-technique they need to know for their GCSEs ranging from how to make helpful notes, flashcards and making good use of the specification.
I will teach maths and chemistry to students from KS2, KS3 and KS4 - I can help in consolidating prior knowledge or teaching the content from scratch.
The length of each lesson will be 1 hour.
