About Lily

I am an academic scholar with a strong passion for problem-solving, particularly in mathematics. I hope to study maths at degree level and pursue a career in the field because of my genuine love for the subject. I really enjoy helping others understand mathematical concepts and seeing their confidence grow as things begin to make sense. My enthusiasm and friendly approach help students feel comfortable asking questions and engaging with the subject, allowing them to develop both their understanding and their appreciation of maths.

About the lesson

As I got a near perfect mark on my GCSE and am currently studying A level maths and further maths, I’m well placed having taken the exam so recently, to assist anyone trying to improve their GCSE grades. My main teaching method would be going through past exams, working through questions in depth to secure understanding, as this is what helped me most to secure a high grade. Also, doing timed practice to ensure as few mistakes as possible are made under pressure.
