About Samuel

Are you or your child struggling to engage with traditional teaching methods at school? Finding your classroom learning overwhelming? Feeling like you're dragging behind and there's no one there to help you catch up?

If that's you, look no further!

Teachers are great, but sometimes it's helpful to have people with recent insight into what its like to be a student, giving you a different outlook on your learning and truly drive you to succeed. For just £14/hour (open to negotiation), I can offer you exactly that!

I have only recently left secondary school and am still in full time education, meaning I have a great understanding of how young people learn most effectively and can achieve the best grades through various studying revision techniques. Employing these strategies myself helped me achieve grade 9's (A**) in all 10 GCSE subjects I took.

I'm a confident, clear communicator, with experience mentoring friends, classmates and younger students throughout my educational journey. I'm passionate about education and learning in new and exciting ways

As your tutor I will put you at the center of your own learning, asking you what you want to achieve and setting realistic but ambitious targets. Then I'll work with you on a structured tutoring plan to reach these goals, including:

- Tutoring on topics you find difficult
- Chances for you to ask any questions you have about the topic
- Worked examples to help cement your understanding
- Guided practice so you can apply your knowledge and receive instantaneous feedback

We'll follow that plan until you reach your goals and feel happy with your progress!
