About Sarah
I strongly believe in the concept of helping one another, so I truly value the opportunity to be able to reassure students of what they already know, as well as help them in areas where they struggle, in order to better shape them and their achievements.
I also believe in a more compassionate environment than appears in so many schools; many students lack the confidence to speak up in class should they not understand, which is why it is so important to establish a different kind of communication in these sessions, where the priority is less about getting through material, and more focussed on the student's particular weaknesses or uncertainties.

My name is Sarah and, having previously been a tutee myself, I understand the types of activities that are engaging and, most importantly, actually helpful for a student. I work well with children of any age, catering to their level, while still pushing them to improve, through a range of techniques and activities. Throughout my time in school (including now) I have worked with my peers, helping them whenever they need, often even taking time outside of lessons to help them by revisiting any topics they are unsure about. Typically, a lesson with me will last around an hour, though I am extremely flexible and can easily make changes to fit a different schedule.
