About Dheeraj

Because of my prior experience tutoring, I understand how to work with students to help them learn in a way that suits them best. Through my time tutoring GCSE Maths in school, I have worked with a range of students, each with different strengths and challenges. This experience has given me the ability to adapt my teaching style, ensuring that every student receives the support they need to improve and gain confidence in their abilities. I am currently studying A-Level Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Computer Science, and I have a strong academic background, achieving high 8s and 9s in all of my subjects, with 2 of those 9s being in maths and physics at GCSE. My firsthand experience with these subjects means I know what it takes to succeed and how to explain complex ideas in a way that makes sense. My lessons are structured but flexible. I focus on practice-based learning—helping students work through questions, identifying mistakes, and explaining concepts where needed. Because I feel I have a good grasp on the content at GCSE I don't mind teaching a topic from the ground up if a student is unfamiliar. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, knowing that each step is part of their progress. My goal is not just to help students improve their grades but to build their confidence in learning and problem-solving.

About the lesson

My Approach to Tutoring Teaching Methodology & Techniques I focus on practice-based learning—guiding students through practice questions, identifying mistakes, and explaining concepts where needed. If a student is unfamiliar with a topic, I can teach it from scratch, ensuring they fully understand before moving forward. Lesson Length Lessons are flexible, typically lasting 30 minutes to an hour, but can be adjusted based on the student’s needs. Since sessions are online, timing is not a strict constraint. Qualifications & Experience A-Level student studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics & Computer Science GCSE Grades: 9 in Maths & Physics, high 8 in Computer Science Experience tutoring GCSE Maths at school Who Are My Lessons For?
