About Sahithi
Hi, I’m Sahithi Bathala, and I’m about to begin my first year studying Chemistry at university. I’ve always been passionate about science and maths—not just because they’re fascinating subjects, but because they’re powerful tools for understanding the world and solving real problems. I believe that every student has the potential to achieve top grades with the right support, and no one should feel held back in their academic journey. My goal as a tutor is to help you feel confident, capable, and fully prepared—no matter your starting point. Through my own recent experience with GCSEs and A-Levels, I understand the challenges students face, and I’m here to offer clear guidance, tailored teaching, and a friendly space to grow. I offer focused, 1-hour sessions tailored to GCSE Maths and Science (all exam boards) and A-Level Maths and Chemistry, with a specialism in OCR A for A-Level Chemistry. My teaching targets challenging areas from the outset using exam-style questions and clear, concise explanations of key specification points to close knowledge gaps and build a solid understanding. I assign weekly homework to consolidate learning and use spaced repetition in lessons to support long-term retention and boost confidence. With 2 years of volunteer tutoring experience in school and additional private tutoring in Maths and Science, I’m well-versed in current exam board requirements, having sat the exams myself. Lessons are structured, efficient, and exam-focused—designed to help students achieve their best.
