About Katie

I am extremely passionate about politics, I thoroughly enjoyed the subject at both A-Level and University and found that it was something I was especially good at. Having just graduated, I'm looking to keep that passion going and so turned to tutoring as a way to pass on my own knowledge and passion for the subject.

About the lesson

My teaching techniques are always tailored to my students, whether they prefer visual learning, making mind maps and audio materials that they can use when revising. Or if they prefer quick fire questions to solidify that information and practice fast fact re-call. I develop my lesson plans in line with what works best for my student.

I have kept all of my essays, fact sheets, mind-maps, past papers and flashcards and would of course be happy to share those with my students and help them to create their own.

I will always make sure that my students fell calm and prepared for thier exams or coursework deadlines. I understand that these are stressful for students and so will always do my best to put them at ease and ensure they feel confident in their own academic ability.
