About Jody
I studied civil engineering and have several years of experience teaching Cambridge Maths. I enjoy helping students understand the logic behind Maths and seeing them gain confidence as they tackle challenging problems. Teaching is rewarding for me because I love guiding students to develop problem-solving skills, understand concepts deeply, and take pride in their progress. I aim to make Maths clear, engaging, and empowering for every student I work with.

I specialise in AS Level & Year 12 A-Level Maths exam prep, focusing on Pure Maths P1 & P2 and Mechanics 1. My sessions are designed for students who have already studied the curriculum but want targeted support to excel in their exams.
Students can choose between two types of sessions, depending on their needs:
Topical Revision – Focus on the areas the student finds most challenging. I break down difficult topics, explain concepts clearly, and guide students through problem-solving strategies, so they feel confident tackling these questions in the exam.
Past Paper Practice – Work through exam questions under timed conditions, identify common mistakes, and build efficient techniques for solving problems. This helps students develop confidence and familiarity with the style and format of exam questions.
My goal is to help students feel prepared, confident, and calm going into their exams, with the strategies and understanding they need to maximise marks.
