About Louis
I am an ambitious A-level student looking to help tutor those who are doing their GCSEs. As a Year 12 student, I'm currently working on my application to Oxford University to study Mathematics and Computer Science. I believe in pushing your limits and doing what is right for your education. I got a grade nine in GCSE maths alongside 5 other nines and 2 eights and I'm also predicted A*A*A.
I'm especially patient and prioritise deep understanding and excellence.

I offer GCSE Maths tutoring designed to help students build confidence, close gaps in understanding, and improve exam performance through clear, structured teaching.
My approach focuses on breaking down difficult topics into simple, manageable steps, followed by plenty of guided practice so students fully understand the method rather than just memorising it. I also use exam-style questions regularly to build confidence under timed conditions and improve exam technique, including how to spot common question types and avoid easy mistakes.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although this can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs and attention span.
I am currently an A-level student with a strong academic background in maths, having achieved a high grade at GCSE and continuing to study the subject at a higher level. This gives me recent, relevant experience of the GCSE curriculum and exam structure, along with a clear understanding of what students need to succeed.
Lessons are aimed at GCSE students (Year 9–11), including both foundation and higher tier students who want to improve their grades, build confidence, or move up a set.
