About Andrea

Hello, I’m Andrea,

I’m a passionate chess player and regional champion in Venezuela, with over 6 years of experience teaching this fascinating sport. My approach is designed for children, teenagers, and adults who are looking to start or improve their game, offering an enriching and dynamic learning experience.

Methodology
My classes combine theory with practice, allowing students not only to understand the fundamentals of chess but also to apply them in real game situations. I use interactive tools and visual resources to make learning easier, and I always tailor the sessions to the individual needs of each student. I foster a respectful and collaborative environment, where every student feels comfortable sharing their ideas and asking questions.

Content
In each session, we will cover:

Basic and advanced chess strategies
Tactics to improve decision-making on the board
Game analysis, both of your own games and those of grandmasters
Practical games to apply what has been learned and to encourage critical thinking
Additionally, I provide supplementary materials, such as recommended books in PDF format, so that students can delve deeper into the topics discussed in class.

Class Dynamics
My classes are conducted in a group setting, allowing for interaction between students. This not only encourages a richer learning experience but also helps to develop social skills and teamwork. The class includes dedicated time to clarify doubts and discuss strategies, ensuring that all participants feel supported and motivated.

Experience
With a solid background in teaching, I have had the opportunity to guide students of various levels, from beginners to more advanced players. My goal is to make each class a valuable and enjoyable experience, where students not only learn chess but also develop a true passion for the game.
