About George
I've been teaching for over 32+ yrs at a family owned music store. Unfortunately, the owner retired recently, I am basically striking out on my own, but have a core of students with me & looking to expand on that. I've taught 1000s of lessons & 100s of students over the years. Many have or are playing & pursuing their own musical endeavors...bands, recording, performing etc. My teaching has gone multi generational, having students that are the kids of my former students. A fellow who does this part-time, supporting my family ( kids also involved in music & the arts) Still pursuing my path & passion.

Focus on connecting the student with their musical ' path '. Taking the students musical tastes, goals & abilities and moving that forward. Emphasis on playing technique & establishing a solid musical foundation: theory, rhythm, literacy etc. No two students learn in the exact same way or pace, so it's all customized for the individual student. Alot of different ways to learn and understand. I don't teach in a ' one size fits all ' format.
