About Montia
I am a self motivator and always push myself to be the best at whatever it is I do and what I’ve learned over the years of doing hair is that patience is key. I’ve learned to take my time and not compare my work to others. I ran into a lot of challenges on my journey but continued to be consistent and stayed positive because I knew I had a talent that would take me far. If I had the opportunity to talk to my younger self who was just starting out doing hair, I would tell her, “Not everybody will support your dreams including family and friends but don’t get discouraged because your talent will bring you the support you need.”

*In these lessons you will get the full experience on braids with or without braiding hair, designs such as hearts or butterflies, how to extend length in braids, and most importantly adding hair to get that natural look.
*Styling locs can be difficult but with these techniques you will be undefeated. You will learn how to properly start locs based off your clients hair texture, designing styles such as 2 strand twist, barrel braids, rose pedals, but what’s really taking over the loc industry is loc attachment. With these skills you will raise your clientele 100%.
*During lessons we will discuss how to maintain a signature experience that will bring returned customers, promote your skills, and set goals.
*In person lessons will be practiced on a mannequin.
