I am a licensed public school teacher. I have been teaching for fourteen years. I have taught grades 3,4,5,6 and 7. I have taught both in person and online. I have a strong desire to help students gain a deeper understanding of mathematics.

I approach teaching mathematics with a combination of direct instruction and self-discovery based on leading questions. I do not allow students to become frustrated, but I do not want my help to come in the form of just supplying answers. I want my students to take ownership of their learning.
