About Taylor
Hi! My name is Taylor Spiller, I am a licensed high school math teacher, and I am pursuing professional playing opportunities for soccer. I went to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and got my secondary teaching licensure. Also while there, I earned my Master's degree in Physical Education & Coaching Pedagogy and played Division I college soccer for 5 years.

As a tutor I strive to get to know the students I work with beyond the baseline material they need to know to get through whatever class they're in. I aim to help the student truly understand the material they are learning by working through it with them in a way they can connect with. My lessons are driven by the student and what they want/need to get out of the session (i.e. studying for an upcoming test, homework help, being retaught a lesson from class, etc.). I want to help every student I work with succeed in their classes and activities, but more importantly, I want them to gain an understanding of the material so that they can feel confident and competent in any area related to it.
