About Grace

Hi, I’m Grace — a licensed high school math teacher with a knack for turning “I don’t get it” into “Ohhh, that makes sense!” I am currently based in Northern California enjoying the majestic mountain views from all corners of my property. I’ve taught students from all walks of life and love helping them tackle Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and everything in between with less stress and more confidence. I bring clear explanations, lots of patience, and a little bit of fun to every session. Whether you're prepping for a test, catching up, or trying to stay ahead, I’ll meet you where you are and help you get where you need to be. I have taught in several countries and worked with students who are non-native English speakers - Japan, Vietnam, China, Philippines - and it was amazingly life-changing! About the lesson

Hey there, a 10-year math teacher here with a passion for helping students feel confident in math. I keep things simple, clear, and tailored to how you learn best—whether it’s Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, or test prep. My sessions are relaxed, encouraging, and focused on real understanding, not just memorizing steps. A typical lesson would look like: 1. quick review or warm-up to assess prior knowledge; 2. clear explanation of the new concept with examples; 3. step-by-step guided practice with immediate feedback; 4. independent practice to build confidence, and; 5. wrap-up with tips, Q&A, and optional homework or review tasks. I work with middle and high school students (Grades 6–12), especially those who feel stuck or need a fresh way of seeing math. Let’s make things click together!
