About Joan Marie
I am a licensed Math teacher with 15 years of teaching experience, including 5 years as a certified Middle School Math teacher in South Carolina, USA (2021–2026). I have also experience in teaching High School Math for 8 years here in the PH and 2 years in Qatar.
I am a Cum Laude graduate with a degree of Bachelor of Science in teaching Mathematics and finished my Master's degree in Master of Science in Teaching Mathematics. I passed the Praxis Middle School Math test (5164) with a high score of 196/200, demonstrating my strong knowledge. I have experience in doing tutorial sessions both in person and in virtual.

My goal is not only to help students get the correct answer, but also to help them understand the “why” behind the solution, build confidence, and develop problem-solving skills.
