About Matthew
For the past three years, I have served as both a homeroom teacher and STEM instructor for fifth and sixth-grade students in substantially separate classroom settings. This experience has been transformative, allowing me to develop specialized skills in differentiated instruction, IEP implementation, and behavioral support strategies. I believe every student deserves an advocate who sees their potential rather than their limitations. My experience working with substantially separate classrooms has taught me that with the right support, creativity, and high expectations, all students can achieve meaningful growth and success.

With a Massachusetts Teacher License in Moderate Disabilities (PreK-8) and four years of dedicated classroom experience, I bring specialized expertise in supporting students with diverse learning needs. As both a subject specialist and homeroom teacher, I have developed engaging, accessible curricula in science and mathematics that meet students exactly where they are in their learning journey.
