About Melissa Mae

I am a licensed professional teacher from Bicol, Philippines. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I am a full-time Tagalog tutor, and Tagalog is my native language. I have experience in both traditional and online settings. I've been a private school teacher for about a year. My primary duties include teaching Filipino and other subjects to elementary and junior high school students. I am also a volunteer tutor. As a volunteer tutor, I instruct young students in writing, counting, and reading in Tagalog, Filipino, and simple English. Additionally, I have a TEFL certification. My favourite aspect of being a tutor is guiding my students towards their goals and seeing their progress as they grow in knowledge and confidence. I am here to guide you towards your journey in Tagalog.

About the lesson

I will help you develop your Tagalog written skills and communication skills, increase your vocabulary, and improve your grammar and pronunciation in the easiest and most effective way. My teaching style is flexible, engaging, and customised according to the level and goal of the students. We could also converse casually so that you could practise and speak Tagalog language naturally.
