About Dona
I graduated with a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Rhode Island in 1992. Since that time, I have worked in schools, clinics, rehab facilities, home visiting and private practice providing speech, language, and communication services to young children, families, school age children, and adults. Effective, functional, clear communication has been my passion for more than 30 rewarding years.

An Adult Pronunciation Session includes:
1.) Warm-up conversation: tell me about your work or daily routine and what situations are most difficult when speaking English.
This conversation gives me an opportunity to identify sounds/patterns to target to improve the clarity of your speech
2.) Target the sound/pattern for the session
3.) Practice in words/phrases
4.) Real-life speaking. conversation that includes target sounds/words
5.) Practice assignment
