About Abbey
I am a university student studying a life science major, working towards a bachelor degree. I graduated high school with honours, and have tutored peers all through out my secondary career. I like to make personal connections with students, and make tutoring a place that kids can not only count on, but look forward to. I can adjust lessons for students to make the most out of each session, and work around schedules. I will use techniques that I found have helped me the most, as well as techniques that I think will best fit each student. I am responsible and reliable, and love to help others.

I would like to focus on a topic that is difficult for a student and help them to understand how it works and where to use it, and apply it to problems, and writing. I had tutors growing up and understand that the best way to learn is to take your time to understand a topic to be able to apply it in a given situation, rather than using memorization, as it limits your range of problem solving. Lessons are for students who find they are struggling in a subject area, and the goal is to become personal with students to enlighten them in the best way that fits their learning style.
