About Hunter
I’ve been a musician in many bands in Los Angeles over the last 12 years. I’ve played bass for rock bands, guitar in metal bands, and I’ve made my own music for years. My years at MI have taught me great methods for teaching.

I try and tailor my lessons for each student. Depending on your own musical goals, we can come up with a lesson plan that is fun and dynamic to help you reach them! I like to create a lesson path that keeps students engaged while also expanding their technique and knowledge. If you want to learn a song that you like, we can dissect it together and learn it piece by piece while focusing on the techniques used in the song. If you want to learn how to shred, we can focus on scale and arpeggio exercises. I create my lessons to get you where you want to be!

Hunter is a phenomenal teacher! He is fun patient, and extremely knowledgeable. He helped me progress as a guitarist well beyond what I had been able to to do with other teachers, and I would recommend him to anybody who is seeking to advance themselves as a musician, particularly in the rock and metal genres. Five stars!
Hunter is a very patient, knowledgeable teacher. Having had professional performing and recording experience, his expertise fits well in today's music trends.
