About Emmanuel
Hello! My name is Emmanuel, and I am a native Spanish speaker who has spoken Spanish throughout my life. I earned the AISD Seal of Biliteracy after completing advanced dual-language coursework, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in both Spanish and English.
In addition to my academic background, I have professional experience communicating with Spanish-speaking clients in legal environments. I previously worked at an immigration law firm, where Spanish was essential for interacting with many clients and assisting with daily tasks. I currently continue to use Spanish in my work, regularly communicating with Spanish speakers in a professional setting.
As a college student, I understand the importance of patience, clear communication, and adapting lessons to each student's needs. I am committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and practicing their Spanish skills without fear of making mistakes.

Hello! My name is Emmanuel, and I am a native Spanish speaker who has spoken Spanish my entire life. I earned the AISD Seal of Biliteracy after completing advanced dual-language coursework, demonstrating proficiency in both Spanish and English.
My teaching approach focuses on creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students can build confidence while improving their Spanish skills. I believe language learning is most effective when students actively practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing rather than simply memorizing vocabulary and grammar rules.
A typical lesson is tailored to the student's goals and level. Lessons may include conversational practice, pronunciation exercises, vocabulary building, grammar explanations, reading activities, writing exercises, and homework support. I adjust the pace and content to ensure students feel challenged while still making steady progress.
What sets me apart is my experience as a lifelong Spanish speaker combined with my bilingual academic background.
