About KC
Music is my passion! I have over 20+ years of musical experience ranging from playing solo performances of originals to touring with a band as a keyboardist. I have proficiency in classical, funk, jazz, and pop, as well as a strong understanding of music theory and history. Throughout my years I have taught students of all ages and levels, and have immensely enjoyed every student.

When it comes to teaching, I believe in an approach that combines technique, theory, and musicianship. I like to understand what goals the student has, and tailor my approach to each student by providing structure and direction based on my experience. Lessons include sight reading, playing technique, music theory, and ear training over a variety of different styles, such as jazz, classical, pop, funk, ambient and video game music. Music should be both fun and work - you will never get anywhere without both!
