About Ash
As a linguist by hobby and student by history, language learning has always been a large part of my life. I’ve spent countless years and countless hours studying various languages, various aspects of language, and the different learning methods of a variety of resources that are available both publicly and privately. As I did not choose to go into education as a career, it’s something that has been missing from my heart. I LOVE teaching about topics I am interested in, it is so fulfilling to me. I am a Native English Speaker that has dabbled in more languages than I think you can name and am dedicated to learning whatever I need to to assist you in your language journey.

Why choose me instead of Duolingo? As someone with a major interest in teaching and education, creating personalized teaching plans is my specialty. I will create and adjust learning outcomes and techniques depending on your goals, learning style, interests, etc. Language Learning has never been this personalized!
Start from 0 knowledge and achieve your language goals through a variety of techniques that may include conversation practice, homework, “graded” exams, etc.

As friends during high school and as someone who is NOT linguistically gifted, I struggled a lot in school with language classes. Even if it wasn’t a topic they needed to know or were familiar with, they would learn and teach it to me and it worked! Very good teacher!
We know each other through school and I’ve seen them putting together lesson plans and it is honestly so impressive! If my language teachers in school had cared half as much about my personal learning style as they do, I would be fluent in 7 languages already (jk jk)!
They also are the biggest language nerd ever and have even helped me on language tests for languages they had never studied previously. They pick things up and relay them quickly and nicely.View more recommendations
