I am a linguistics and philosophy student. I hope to be a professor some day. I have taught English for two years in Peru and Colombia. I have a passion for teaching as well as learning new languages. I am studying French and Portuguese at the moment, so I know how difficult learning a new language can be.

I focus every class on comprehension and production. I usually like to have two focuses for each class; reading, writing, speaking, or listening. The most important part of language learning is not being afraid to make mistakes and practice speaking a lot. While there will be some grammar and vocabulary points in the class, the main focus is speaking.
