About Olivia
I took my A Levels in English Language, Spanish and Drama. I really enjoyed these subjects and taking them allowed me to find the perfect degree for my skills and interests. As well as learning about language and communication, I also gained key skills such as public speaking, giving presentations and essay writing - all essentials for sixth form and beyond!
I have taught a range of students in my three years of teaching and am continuously satisfied with the progress my students make. I have taken on students that have come to me with mock grades ranging from E-A, and pride myself on my adaptable teaching style to meet all demands and successful classes.
As you can imagine, since doing my GCSEs and A Levels I have gained a lot of mock and exam experience. I definitely always preferred coursework and assignments so I had to learn how to go into exams feeling confident even if it wasn’t what always came naturally to me. I’m looking forward to helping you all grow in confidence during this challenging yet very exciting time :)
I also welcome adult language learners, or students who are looking for tuition over the summer.

I pride myself on creating lessons which are perfectly tailored and specific to each student. I don't believe in a 'one size fits all' approach in education, so ensure that my students are given lessons, exercises and explanations that are most appropriate to them.
To maximise my sessions, I try to incorporate a healthy balance of teaching and practice. I reject lecture-style lessons as they often lead to dissatisfaction and lack of engagement and interest in the subject. Instead, I aim to incorporate exercises and activities to complement my teaching, and ensure thorough understanding.
