I teach a lecture/discussion model. This means I have a prepared mini-lecture for each day, which is based on the broader goals within the curriculum. Writing is an important part of my classes. I require students write out answers to questions about the text and be prepared to verbally discuss them.
I received my B.A. in Film and Theatre from the University of Colorado. I've published numerous short stories and a novel and I am the editor-in-chief of a literary magazine called Troubadour Magazine. Through this I also host two podcasts focusing on literary art (short stories, dramas, novels, poetry) "The Troubadour Podcast" and "Surprised by Art! W/ Luc & Kirk."
